The Keyword Universe
Your living map of keywords, clusters, and the pages that own them.
The Keyword Universe is the heart of Maark: a living, always-current map of the keywords that matter to your site, grouped by intent, and mapped to the pages that should rank for them. It is not a one-time export — it updates as your site, your rankings, and your market change.
How the universe is built
Keywords flow through a pipeline before they land in your universe:
- Discovery — Maark crawls your site and gathers keyword candidates from your pages, your Search Console queries, product research, and any keywords you or your assistant import.
- Review — an AI classifier decides which candidates are actually relevant to your brand, using your Brand DNA. Irrelevant or off-language terms are set aside.
- Enrichment — retained keywords get search volume and live search-results data.
- Clustering — keywords that serve the same intent are grouped into clusters, so you work with topics, not thousands of loose terms.
- Mapping — each cluster is matched to the page best suited to own it, using signals like existing rankings, title and URL match, page type, and content similarity.
The result: a structured view of your demand and which page is responsible for each piece of it.
Why clusters and mapping matter
- Clusters turn keyword sprawl into a handful of decisions. You act on a topic once instead of chasing near-duplicate terms.
- Mapping tells you, for every cluster, whether you already have the right page — or whether there is a gap where demand exists but no page targets it. Gaps are some of the best opportunities on your site.
It stays fresh on its own
Maark keeps the universe current on a schedule — re-crawling changed pages, syncing new Search Console data, forming new clusters, and re-checking mappings. You do not have to rebuild anything; you review what changes.
