Cookie Policy

This policy explains the cookies and similar technologies maark uses, what each is for, and how you can control them. We keep this deliberately short and specific — we do not run a wall of third-party advertising trackers across the product.
Strictly necessary
These are required for the product to work — to sign you in, secure your session and remember which workspace you are in. The app cannot function without them.

Analytics and diagnostics
We measure traffic with a cookieless analytics tool, and capture errors and performance so we can fix problems. These do not build an advertising profile of you.

Advertising — free-audit funnel only
Our public free SEO audit (and its shared result links) loads Meta's advertising pixel so we can measure and attribute the campaigns that bring people to it. This is the one place maark uses a third-party advertising cookie, and it is not loaded anywhere else — not on the marketing site, and not inside the product.

How to control cookies
You can clear or block cookies in your browser settings; blocking the strictly-necessary ones will stop you from signing in. Because the advertising pixel loads only on the free-audit funnel, simply not visiting that funnel means it never runs. You can also opt out of interest-based ads through your Meta ad preferences. We are actively working on a consent control for the advertising pixel; until it ships, the scoping described here is how we keep it contained.
