Reviewing and approving articles

The daily review email, one-click actions, and what happens when you skip.

Every article Maark produces waits for a person before it goes live. Reviewing is designed to take a minute a day.

The daily review email

Each day, Maark emails you the articles waiting on your decision. For each one you get one-click actions:

  • Publish — send it live (to Shopify, or keep it in your library if no store is connected).
  • View — open the full draft to read it first.
  • Skip — pass on it for now.

You can act right from the email, or open the calendar and review there.

What "Publish" does

Publishing an approved article records your decision and sends it to your connected store's blog. If you have no store connected, "publishing" simply marks it approved and keeps it in your draft library to copy or export. See Publishing your content.

What "Skip" does

Skipping keeps the article as a draft in your library — it is not deleted, and you can publish it later. One thing to know: a produced article's credits stay spent even if you skip it. The article was made; the work happened.

The way to save credits is to edit the calendar before a slot enters production — swapping or removing an upcoming topic is free. Once a piece is produced, skipping does not refund it.

If you do nothing

By default, an article you never act on simply stays in the queue as a draft — nothing publishes without you. If you have turned on the optional 48-hour auto-publish toggle for a project, articles that passed review publish on their own after 48 hours and Maark notifies you. That toggle is off unless you enable it. See The content calendar.

Drafts that did not pass review

If the independent review step held a draft, it does not appear as ready-to-publish — it routes through the repair loop first. You will not be asked to approve something that failed its checks.

A simple daily rhythm

  1. Open the review email.
  2. Publish the pieces you like.
  3. Skip or leave the rest.
  4. Adjust upcoming calendar topics if your priorities changed.

That is the whole loop.
