Publishing your content

Where approved articles go, and what to do if you have no store connected.

When you approve an article, publishing is the last step. Here is exactly where it goes and what your options are.

Publishing to Shopify

If you have connected a Shopify store, approving an article with Publish sends it to your store's blog in one click. No copying, no reformatting. See Connect Shopify to set this up.

Publishing can happen two ways:

  • You publish — from the daily review email or the calendar, with one click.
  • Delayed auto-publish — if you have turned on the optional per-project 48-hour toggle, articles that passed review publish on their own after 48 hours if you have not acted, and Maark notifies you. This is off by default.

Either way, a person is in the loop: either you click publish, or you deliberately opted in to the delay.

No store connected? You still get everything

Publishing is the only part that needs a store. Everything upstream — research, writing, review — works regardless. Approved articles are kept as drafts in your library, where you can:

  • Copy the content to paste wherever you publish, or
  • Export it to move it into your own workflow.

If you disconnect your store later

Disconnecting Shopify stops future one-click publishing, but articles you already published stay live in your store — nothing is pulled down. You can reconnect at any time.

What Maark does not do

Maark publishes to your connected store; it does not reach into other platforms on its own, and it does not modify your live site outside the publishing step you approve. If a destination is not connected, your content waits safely in the draft library until you are ready.
