Frequently asked questions
Quick answers to the questions customers ask most.
Does Maark publish to my site without me?
No. Maark is review-first. Every article waits in a review queue for your approval — you publish, preview, or skip. If you want a hands-off option, you can opt in per project to a delayed auto-publish that only fires after 48 hours on articles that passed review, and only if you have not acted. It is off unless you turn it on. See Reviewing and approving articles.
Where can Maark publish my content?
Maark publishes to Shopify today. If you do not have a store connected, approved articles stay in your draft library, where you can copy or export them to publish anywhere. More publishing destinations are on the roadmap. See Publishing your content.
Is my Google Search Console data safe?
Yes. Maark requests a read-only Search Console permission — it can read your data but never change your property or sitemaps. Your data is encrypted, access is scoped to your organization, and you can disconnect at any time. Full details in Why Maark asks for Search Console access.
Do my credits roll over?
Monthly granted credits reset each billing cycle — they do not roll over. Credits you buy as a top-up pack do roll over, for up to 12 months. See How credits work.
What happens if I run out of credits?
Maark pauses gracefully — the autopilot stops, you get a banner and email, and billable actions show a top-up prompt instead of failing. Everything resumes automatically on top-up, auto-refill, or your next cycle. See Balance, top-ups & auto-refill.
Can I cancel?
Yes — cancel anytime, and paid plans come with a money-back guarantee. Downgrades and cancellations take effect at the end of your current cycle. You can also explore Maark first through the free dashboard tier and the free SEO audit. See Plans and what's included.
Can a connected AI assistant change my data?
Only within the scope you grant. Connections are read by default; admins can grant propose (suggestions land in an approval queue) or operate (direct changes). Every connection is limited to specific projects, write actions preview first, and everything is audited. See Agent access & safety.
Is Maark autonomous?
Maark automates the work, but not the judgment. Opportunities are proposals you approve, and content is review-first. Where Maark runs on a schedule, it stays inside the budgets and controls you set, and you can pause any stage. You are always in the loop.
Does Maark change my website's code or schema?
No. Maark's AI-visibility features recommend entity and schema improvements — they do not write changes to your site. You decide what to implement.
