Connect Shopify to publish

Connect your store so approved articles publish in one click.

Connecting Shopify lets Maark publish an approved article to your store's blog in one click — no copying and pasting. Shopify is the publishing destination available today. If you do not connect a store, approved articles still land in your draft library, ready to copy or export.

Before you start

  • You need admin access to your Maark organization.
  • You need to be able to install an app on your Shopify store (or have the store's admin do it).

Connect your store

  1. In Maark, go to Settings → Projects and open the project for the site.
  2. Find the Shopify Publishing section.
  3. Enter your Store Domain — your your-store.myshopify.com address.
  4. Click Connect Shopify. You are taken to Shopify to approve the install, then returned to Maark.
  5. You will see "Shopify connected. You can now publish without pasting a token." The section shows a Connected status.

That is it — approved articles can now publish to your store.

Publishing after you connect

Once connected, publishing is part of the normal review flow: approve an article and choose Publish, and it goes to your store's blog. See Publishing your content for the full flow, including the optional delayed auto-publish option.

Syncing products

Maark can sync your store's products so its recommendations and drafts reference what you actually sell. You can trigger a product sync from the same settings area after connecting.

Disconnecting

You can disconnect Shopify at any time from the same Shopify Publishing section. Disconnecting stops future publishing, but any articles you already published stay live in your store — nothing is removed.

No store connected?

You can still get the full value of the content pipeline. Approved articles are kept as drafts in your library, where you can copy the content or export it to publish wherever you like.

Troubleshooting

  • Install failed or expired? Ask the store's admin to re-approve the install, then reconnect.
  • Publishing says no active connection? Re-open Settings → Projects → Shopify Publishing and confirm the status is Connected.
